New Zealand's most fashionable export, Karen Walker, showcased her latest collection on the runway this week at New York Fashion Week.
Big shoulders and baggy trousers are the collection's hallmarks, as are clean lines on elegant black sandy-coloured coats and pinafores, and classic retro houndstooth and wool fabrics. A layer of fun is added with busy prints and bold splashes of autumnal khaki and fluorescent orange peppered throughout – mixed and matched to brilliant effect.
