Here Are the 2013 LMFF National Designer Award Finalists
The LMFF National Designer Award remains one of the most prestigious prizes for emerging designers in this country.
Presented this year by Tiffany and Co and Harper’s Bazaar, the Award includes a $10,000 cash prize as well as editorial support and financial advice.
Last year, the Award was won by Christopher Esber, who went on to present one of the best collections of Australian Fashion Week. Past winners include Dion Lee, Josh Goot and Song For The Mute.
This year’s finalists, who have all been awarded prizes of $2000, are:
From Britten (VIC)
Michael Lo Sordo (NSW)
This is the first time in several years that Melbournians have made up the bulk of the finalists. Many of the nominees have made it this far in the past. It is Lui Hon’s third time in the finals and Michael Lo Sordo and From Britten’s second go around.
