Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf have been hooking up

Morning Upper Eastsiders, boy oh boy do we have a scoop for you!

Adam Brody (Seth Cohen) has been “hanging out” (we all know what that means) with Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf), according to UsMagazine.

The soap stars, who in 2011 performed alongside Catherine Keener and Hugh Laurie in The Oranges, have been enjoying a real-life romance made in Josh Schwartz heaven, with the two reportedly already holidaying in Thailand and visiting the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art together – big steps all round.

But their ties, as you know dear readers, are embedded far deeper than being co-stars and paramours. Both (appropriately) brunettes (because, what kind of soap-romance would this be if the couple did not – even if only slightly – resemble siblings?) starred in Josh Schwartz spawned shows – The O.C. and Gossip Girl respectively – which, essentially, were both based on the same Rich People With Problems premise.

Where this coupling becomes so great though is that in his O.C. days, Brody dated Rachel Bilson (Summer) on screen and off, who is Meester’s parallel fictional West Coast identity. You following? Good.

So, we have to ask, if they get married, will Cyrus or Sandy be the celebrant? Will Marissa get the Bart Bass “not really dead" treatment? And has Chuck been having an affair with Ryan?
