Everyone knows the best thing about the spectacular disaster that was this years critical flop Suicide Squad, was Margot Robbie portraying the fantastically insane Harley Quinn. And in super exciting news today, it has been confirmed that Robbie is set to reprise the role in a spin-off film.
David Ayer who directed Suicide Squad will direct a film adaptation based on the Gotham City Sirens comics. But the big scoop is the film will also feature some of D.C’s best female villains including Catwoman and Poison Ivy. This sounds amazing!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who has recently written screenplays for Tomb Raider and Sherlock Holmes 3, will be writing the script. While Robbie will also be executive producer along with starring.
