Joining forces with BBC funnyman Graham Norton, Adele extends her wicked sense of humour by successfully duping a group of Adele impersonators. The mob are auditioning for a spot to play Adele in a fictitious stage show at the Wimbledon Theatre.
In the recent BBC stunt, Adele disguised herself as “Jenny”, a timid part-time nanny and occasional Adele impersonator. Wearing a prosthetic nose, fake chin and covered in heavy makeup, Jenny successfully conned her fellow impersonators at the mock audition with some fierce competition.
Her backstage banter before each impersonator helped fool the hopefuls before she stepped in to the spotlight. However, during a flawless rendition of her hit ‘Make You Feel My Love’, it was immediately clear it could be no-one other than the superstar herself.
There’s been no doubting Adele has a powerhouse voice, particularly with the recent release of her third studio album ’25’, but this stunt has showcased her previously unseen knack for acting and awesome
sense of humour laugh.
